About Philip Corley
Philip A. Corley Was Born April 11, 1944 in Dublin, Ireland . He Studied at the College of Art 1959 to1964. Tutured with little supervision, by Sean Keating, Maurice McGonical and John Kelly, Corley at 15 years old was the youngest ever to exhibit in the Royal Hibernian Academy, he qualified as a teacher the following year.In Breaking in 1961 and 1962, Corley won a private scholarship and entered the Academy de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris, France, where he was tutored by Yves brayer. He then returned to Dublin to finish his studies ,where he continued exhibiting annually at the Royal Hibernian Academy , as well as local galleries.
